“Beast Of No Nation” Star Seen Begging For Money On The Streets Of Accra
Emmanuel Nii Adom Quaye, the young man who is popularly known for his role as “Strika” in the ‘Beasts of No Nations’ movie, is said to have ended up a beggar on the streets of Accra despite starring in the internationally acclaimed movie.
The teenager from Ghana starred alongside Abraham Attah (who is now famous) and Idris Elba who were undoubtedly the stars of the movie.
Unlike his fellow actor Attah (Agu), who has since shot to fame, Adom Quaye was seen on the streets of Ghana begging for money.
And it took a facebook user to find him.
In a post on Facebook, Caleb Boye narrates how he met Strika while he was begging to make ends meet, when he probably should be in school for a boy his age.
This is coming as a shock since Kobina Amissah-Sam in an interview with MzGee on Hitz FM in 2016 said all the kids who took part in the movie have been well taken care of.
However, in the chat, Strika revealed that his relationship with his co-actor, Attah hasn’t been the same ever since he relocated to the USA.
Adom Online also reports that Strika alleges that after shooting the movie, a producer named Kofi Robert popped up and requested to keep his monies into a bank account until he turned 18, but that hasn’t happened even though he is approaching 19.
